Pil writes songs in Danish about odd feelings in an uplifting and playful pop universe. Loneliness and miserable love are described as precisely as possible so the listener can feel what’s at stake, which can be heard in the songs ‘Nattely’ and ‘Omvendt’ where the last one is a duet with Andreas Odbjerg. When Pil is on the stage the audience is invited to be close in a present and almost friendly atmosphere.
