Party-time and genre mixes – eight new acts for SPOT 2022
What is a festival without the possibility to dance a bit – either standing in front of the stages or sitting in a cozy seat at a venue (and yes, you can easily dance while sitting down). This round of names gives you the opportunity to move your feet and feel all of the feelings, no matter if you’re into techno, pop, hip hop or a bit of punk.
Marcus.wav is the first man on the list who can make sure that you get both tempo-filled music and sincere feelings in a beautiful union. With a bit of the same vibe we have IVER who makes ekstrovert music about his introvert life where there’s room for vulnerability and confidence. Independent singer FLAVA demands attention with her urban universe where she explores drill, R’n’B hip hop and punk while new talent Siné takes her sonic starting point in 90’s R’n’B combined with a contrast-filled, modern context. We have all but three duos ready for this round where Statisk brings a youthful explosion of nerve and presence, siblings ORA shares their world of emotions, energy and joy of music while BASKE adds their honest sound which is a charming and thoughtful mix of pop, rock and hip hop. At last Yo Johnny takes tech-house and rave-culture to the SPOT-scene when he does his best to contribute with high energy to mainstream Denmark.
