Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?
I’m representing Cooking Vinyl and Dine Alone Records in Germany realising campaigns for Alexisonfire, Passenger, The Darkness, Billy Bragg, Kiefer Sutherland, The Jesus & Mary Chain, City and Colour and many others. Besides that I’m handling campaigns and help with consultancy for artists like RIVER, Mantar, The Mars Volta or Backseat Lovers and do the booking for a new studio session and podcast format, that is just starting.
And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment?
Currently I am working with Alexisonfire on their new album campaign, Backseat Lovers with their entry into the European market, as well as various artists for the podcast/studio session (William Fitzsimmons, ÄTNA, Leoniden, Lina Maly…). Also I’m working on Dine Alone’s label profile in Germany and a big vinyl re-release campaign for Cooking Vinyl. And I’m preparing Nic Cester’s (former Jet singer) new solo album, coordinating the world-wide campaign.
What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?
That was pretty much clear when I started playing drums at the age of 4. 🙂
Which acts are you looking forward to seeing this year at SPOT?
All new and upcoming artists with international approach. Personally I like indie, rock etc., but I’m not focused on that business-wise.
