Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?
Backseat is a PR and labelservice agency, covering all fields of media in GSA territory and mainly working with indie/pop/folk artists. We’re currently working with acts like girl in red, Bilderbuch, Fieh and Sophie Zelmani. I founded the company 5 years ago with my partner Arne Thamer. www.backseat-pr.de
Fanklub is a new direct-to-fan platform for bands and fans which I launched with two colleagues in September 2021. www.fanklub.com
NORDEN – the nordic arts festival takes place in the Northern German city Schleswig, every year since 2018, on three weekends from end of August to Mid-September. I’m doing the music booking for the festival. www.norden-festival.com

Amber Run, Black Sea Dahu, Beharie, Jonas Alaska, a.o.
What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?
I’ve always been making music myself and that gave the initial motivation to find out how it looks behind the scenes. Nowadays I enjoy supporting independent artists in doing what they love.
