Can you tell us a bit about the company’s history and its roster?

We are the UK’s leading festival promoters behind Latitude, Reading & Leeds Festivals, Download, Wireless, Wilderness, The Great Escape, Lovebox, and overseas events including Electric Picnic and Lollapalooza Berlin Festival. Over the years Festival Republic has been involved in a wide range of events that have helped influence the live music scene today.

And can you tell us a bit about the acts you personally work with at this moment?

I work closely with BBC introducing for Reading & Leeds to secure the most relevant and fresh talent for this stage. It’s a great platform for new artists to get some exposure and play for the first time in front of the masses.

What was the moment you decided you wanted to work with music?

When I realised it was possible ! Growing up in the Czech Republic where the pool is so small it never crossed my mind it might actually be a solid career. Studying in London I came across all kinds of music jobs and I knew this was all I wanted to do.

Which acts are you looking forward to seeing this year at SPOT?

I’m hoping to check out as many acts as I possibly can!

Best show you’ve ever seen hands down? 

I can’t answer this! Too many shows to choose from. This month it was Sam Fender at Wembley Arena, he’s so so talented and born for stadiums.
