Once named the saviors of melodic death metal by the world's largest metal magazine, Metal Hammer, APHYXION are certainly not ones to succumb to genre definitions. Through the past couple of years, the quintet has kept perfecting and pushing their sound and they’ve created a modern metalcore sound that’s far removed from APHYXION’s original death metal background.
