Charlotte-Amalie is Danish-language pop music where the lyrics are personal and reflect life’s many complicated facets, while the music is carried by the piano’s nakedness together with colorful vocals. It’s vulnerable, undressed and captivating and it creates a narrative about how love, depressions, hopes and dreams have formed Charlotte-Amalie from a young girl to a young adult.
