Danish-Korean band Meejah explores spirituality, Korean and Nordic heritage, transnational identity, Eastern philosophy and culturally based pain through a mix of post-rock, noise, gritty hip hop, post-metal, Korean pansori-singing and Tibetan singing bowls. Their debut album, ‘Queen of Spring’, was voted Best of 2021 by Korean Indie and was nominated for Steppeulven 2022 in the category Hope of the Year.
