The Slow Scare formed in 2019 with the ambition of taking over the electronic indie scene as well as through a shared fascination with the duality of the duo’s on one hand almost megalomaniacal belief in their own abilities and on the other hand their sobering down-to-earthness. Under the monikers Baby Bitter and Deadly Fred, the duo explore the inner workings of pop culture with equal parts curiosity, resentment, and submission.
