Rock is alive, pop music strives and the rap-genre hasn’t seen better days: 11 new additions to the line-up
We’re merely a month away from SPOT 2022. What a crazy sentence to write, since it’s only half a year since we last gathered at the very heart of Aarhus. But we’re more than ready to celebrate music once again, together with a great audience and all the skilled musicians. Today, this year’s line-up is given yet another shot of vitamins in the shape of 11 additional acts on the poster!
Rock is alive, pop music strives and the rap-genre hasn’t seen better days
First up, it’s the legendary trio Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, visiting SPOT 2022 with a full length performance of the album ‘Alter Echo’, as well as doing a separate Q&A and video screening during the festival. Goss will be taking the stage with his powerful og heartfelt vocal, while FABRÄK will be returning to Aarhus with their melodic and self-ironic “rap/noise rock” universe. The very talented Bette and her thoughtful universe will create a space for immersion, Kind Mod Kind will provide contrast and a sincere falsetto accompanied with dark electronic productions, and Gobs enters the stage with hits from the debut album ‘INTET TIL ALT’. Kellermensch, the live phenomenon from western Jutland, raised the roof at SPOT 2017. now they’re back with their new album ‘Capitulism’. The duo Pumps, drawing references to the likes of The Cardigans and Superheroes, will bring songs about the uncool, while Afskum will cultivate the sincerity and provide space for all things ugly. Hitmaker, singer, and producer Brandon Beal will be back on stage with his new project ‘The Pink Café’, and new and innovative rap artist Lamin will be impressing with his creative, musical manifestations.
As you can see, rock is very much alive, pop-music is thriving and rap hasn’t seen better days! If you want to experience it first hand, make sure to get your ticket.
We’ll see you at SPOT 2022!
